Ashley Thompson-McClelland, is a Christian fiction author of two published books: Romantic Rendezvous for the Soul & Visions of Celestial Love. She holds two Associates degrees with honors in English and Humanities with a special emphasis on Creative Arts. She has a Bachelor’s in Biblical Studies completed at Charis Bible College in Colorado. Ashley is certified in Early Childhood Development geared toward a preschool setting. Ashley is CPR certified and has worked over 5 years as a teacher’s assistant at Little One’s Preschool (she first experienced her love for teaching children during these years). She has also volunteered over 6 years as a youth leader for her local church Monterey Bay Christian Center in Seaside. She has voluntarily taught kindergarten girls for over a year in her church’s Missionettes program during weekly family nights. Ashley has extensive years’ worth of babysitting experience. She enjoys working with children and traveled to South America (Ecuador) where she was put in charge of the children’s division on a missionary trip. She has also worked for over a year as a prayer minister for Andrew Wommack Ministries in Colorado.
More on Ashley: Besides her relationship with God, Ashley loves spending time with her husband Stephen and her daughter Eden-Rain. She loves to engage in creative writing through poetry and short stories. Ashley loves reading, visiting farms, spending time on the beach, hiking, painting and doing wood burning art. Some of her favorite pass times are having coffee with a good friend, making up games with children and spending time with loved ones. Ashley’s passion is to see people enter into a healing relationship with Jesus Christ and be empowered to live free and to see their dreams come true. Her prayer is that not only will your children grow academically but that they will live whole, healthy lives inside and out. She hopes that through her future practice as a Life Coach that she can be better equipped to represent God’s love to adults and teens to restore the hurting family units in America.
